shalaka thakurI (age 59 F), have been suffering from back pain since last 10 years. On multiple occasions I have been able to ride over the pain temporarily with the help of physiotherapy and bed rest. Managed with this formula for last 10 years. However, this time the pain was unbearable. On suggestion of my Ortho - Dr. Samant - I got an MRI done. The situation was grave this time and an operation was required. The veins which are connected to the legs were pressed behind the backbone and blood circulation was not possible. I wasn’t able to stand for more than couple of mins or walk more more than 10 mins. I was referred to Dr. Aditya Kashikar. With lots of questions in mind, we met him. He saw the MRI and X-Ray reports and suggested that operation should be done immediately. It took me a while to absorb it however he explained us what was causing the pain, made us comfortable and addressed all our queries calmly, which gave me a lot of confidence. My operation was successful, but some of the stitches got infected due to moisture. Had to be admitted again. He suggested I get a plastic surgery done to scrape the dead skin and remove the infected part, thereby optimising the recovery. In hospital, he regularly visited, enquired in detail and gave us a lot of clarity throughout, which gave me a lot of comfort and helped in the recovery. I’m still recovering, but things look brighter now. Definitely would want to recommend Dr. Kashikar for anyone with Spine related problems.

Post surgery Dr. Kashikar visited me in hospital daily and closely monitored my recovery progress. He was also available to address any questions or provide advice. Dr Aditya is very good person and he has handle case as a personal case as my father age is 77 !! As per my suggestion if anyone has issue with spine L4 ans L5 pls viisyr with Dr Aditya kashikar
Rajendrakumar MargajThanks to Dr.Aaditya Sir. He operated my 76 yr old mother in Feb 23 by Lumbar Decompression L4-L5. at Wokhardt Hospital Mira Road. Considering her old age ( and having high blood pressure) this Surgery was risky but Dr.Aaditya Sir gave us the confidence for taking decision for her surgery. On second day of surgery, Dr Aaditya made my mother to walk with support in the ward. Further after 1.5 months, I see my mother's dependency on our support while walking , while entering into & coming out of car during her travel has got significantly reduced by 80 %. Before surgery while walking she used to wobble / sway which now got reduced significantly; while walking earlier she used to touch only her right toe on floor which was looking like only hopping but now she keeps her full foot before treading to her next step. I found Dr Aaditya has spent good time in taking full history from my patient mother. He is very approachable. I am also thankful to Wokhardt Hospital Mira Road. They have excellent administration and caring staff for the patient. It is boon for Society for having Surgeons like Dr.Aaditya Sir. Thanks him once again.
Arvind BhandarkarI am Arvind Bhandarkar Age 72 I visited Dr.Aditya Kashikar on 10.04.2023.for lower leg pain. He checked me thoroughly and advised me for some tests i.e X rays, MRI Spine, Arterial Doppler of both lower limps. After that he sent to Dr.Pankaj Patel vascular surgeon for opinion,.Dr.Pankaj advised me for C.t.anjiography of left lower limps. In that tests he found that Atherosclerostic plaques are noted. Hence he suggested for Angioplasty. Immediately on 25.04.2023, I was admitted to Lilavati Hospital and Dr.Pankaj did the Angioplasty and discharged me on 27.04.23.with Haemodynamically stable and fit. Now I am with good flow post stenting. Thanks to Dr.Aditya Kashikar as he perfectly diagnosed my problem and immediately advised me to take proper action and due that I am stable and fit to walk..as I need.
